The Area People and Organisation of Vlerick Business School, entailing the Vlerick Strategic Talent Management Centre and the Centre in Leading Agile Organisation is always open to welcome enthusiastic interns to support our research agenda and member activities. The Centres bring together a strong network of leading organisations — including Hudson, BNP Paribas Fortis, Agristo, Delhaize, Euroclear, VDAB and others. We help organisations stay ahead in a fast-changing talent landscape by translating research into practical insights. Our work covers talent acquisition, development and retention, performance management, leadership development, wellbeing at work, and the impact of digital transformation on HR. Interested? Here you can read more about our centres. Your mission Take ownership of the organisation and preparation of workshops and webinars — and attend these sessions as well. Support the development of practical tools for our members (e.g., templates, checklists, frameworks, summaries). Contribute to ongoing practice-oriented research projects, for example quantitative surveys (team performance, labour market expectations of final-year students, wellbeing at work, leadership, etc.). Review and synthesise recent literature on relevant and emerging HR topics within our knowledge domain. Write newsflashes for our members based on recently published articles (national and international sources). Help keep our website and LinkedIn pages up to date, creating and curating new content. Collaborate with researchers, project staff and external partners across our member network. You Are currently enrolled in a Masters programme related to HRM, management, psychology, or another relevant field within the social sciences or business. Are curious and analytical, and you enjoy working evidence-based (literature, data, synthesis). Can structure information clearly and enjoy writing (e.g., short articles, summaries, member communications). Are organised and proactive: you keep overview, follow up actions, and manage several tasks in parallel. Have excellent knowledge of Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
