Location: Brussels (3 days onsite - 2 days remote)
The client is seeking a Technical Owner to lead the technical direction, architecture, and delivery quality of a key Gas Flow Management product within a highly regulated and evolving energy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and safeguard the product’s technical health, architecture, and long‑term maintainability.
Translate product requirements into scalable technical designs and system interactions.
Provide technical leadership and mentor team members on standards, patterns, and best practices.
Guide solution feasibility, scalability, security, and alignment with architectural frameworks.
Collaborate with Product Owner, Scrum Master, architects, and platform teams to support delivery.
Resolve technical bottlenecks, manage technical debt, and ensure consistency across products.
Contribute to technical analysis, modelling (UML, interface contracts), and system documentation.
Support product planning with feasibility assessments and technical trade‑off insights.
Must‑Have Skills:
Strong hands‑on expertise with .NET (including .NET 8 / .NET Framework), ASP.NET Web API, SQL Server or Oracle.
Experience with messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ) and modern DevOps tools (Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD).
Solid understanding of software architecture and system integration patterns.
Ability to coach developers and drive alignment on technical standards.
Excellent communication skills; fluent in English.
Nice‑to‑Have:
Knowledge of the energy sector or regulatory‑driven environments.
Working proficiency in French or Dutch.
