PpLocation: Tubize, Belgium /p h3Overview /h3 pWe are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented System Architect for Vehicular Integration projects to oversee the architecture, design, integration of complex defense systems around military vehicles. You will be responsible for the "big picture" of our solution development, ensuring that all subsystems (mechanical, electrical, and thermal) work together seamlessly to meet customer requirements. /p pIn Tubize, you will join more than 250 colleagues recognized by domestic and international partners for expertise on products such as Radio Frequency (RF) Products, C4ISR, Crypto Global Solution, MACS (Aeronautical Intercom) and many others. Today the Group employs more than 1,000 people across nine sites in Belgium. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liRequirements Management: Elicit, analyze, and manage technical requirements from stakeholders. Translate "needs" into "specifications". /li liSystem Architecture: Define the high-level structure of the solution, including how different components interact and interface with one another. /li liRisk Management: Identify potential technical risks (failure points) early in the design cycle and develop mitigation strategies. /li liSystems Engineering Coaching: Interface with systems engineers to ensure smooth implementation of architecture and provide guidance. /li liCross-Functional Leadership: Act as the central point of contact between mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to resolve technical conflicts. /li /ul h3Required Skills Qualifications /h3 ul liEducation: Master’s degree or higher in Electrical, Electronics, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering. /li liTools: Experience with MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering), MATLAB/Simulink, and requirements tools such as Polarion or IBM DOORS. /li liAnalysis: Ability to perform Trade Studies, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and Root Cause Analysis. /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liBackground in defense systems engineering. /li liExperience architecting or designing complex military systems. /li liExperience in vehicular integration projects. /li /ul h3Your Career at Thales /h3 pFuture opportunities will allow you to discover other domains or sites.
