Telenet is the leading Telco provider in Flanders with a portfolio of 3M clients in internet, telephone, mobile and digital television. The company is organized in an agile lay-out with major units (called "tribes"), composed of teams.
This function is situated in the Product Journey Tribe which includes the tooling for network design, product activation (OSS), customer appointment planning, location intelligence (GIS), logical inventory support, network monitoring and representation, digital product journey, troubleshooting and monitoring solutions as well as product journey design.
Starting from a thorough understanding of the applications in his/her domain, the new Business Consultant translates business needs into (non-) functional requirements and aligns closely with the business and technical stakeholders. He/she embeds the designed solution into the existing application landscape while monitoring its quality and sustainability.
You work closely together with the Product Owner and senior peers. There is a close collaboration with architects, business and process analysts to design reliable and scalable solutions. We interact on a daily base with the onshore and offshore analysts, developers and testers from our IT delivery partners, to ensure timely delivery of high quality and sustainable solutions.
Your responsibilities :

Your profile:
* Master's or bachelor's degree with 5–7 years of experience as a business consultant, with a strong track record in analysing and designing information systems – ideally in telecom or utility sectors
* Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented, yet pragmatic – you balance precision with big-picture thinking and critically evaluate ideas and options
* Strong communicator who tailors language to the audience, fluent in Dutch and English
* Passionate about agile ways of working (Scrum) and energised by collaboration across analysts, developers, testers, and business stakeholders
* Independent and proactive – you take initiative, work autonomously, and know when to seek input or support
* Confident and direct with an open mind – comfortable challenging assumptions and saying what needs to be said
* Experienced in driving change initiatives and familiar with Telenet's business landscape and stakeholder dynamics
* Continuous improvement mindset – always looking for smarter ways to work, eager to learn, and dedicated to personal and team growth
* Able to provide technical leadership – connecting solutions to strategic objectives while advocating for quality, reusability, and best practices
* A team player who puts collective success first and enjoys guiding colleagues in their development – development or software engineering background is a plus
