The company is organized in an agile lay-out with major units (called “tribes”), composed of teams.
This function is situated in the Product Journey Tribe which includes the tooling for network design, product activation (OSS), customer appointment planning, location intelligence (GIS), logical inventory support, network monitoring and representation, digital product journey, SPOT (tool) as well as product journey design.
You work closely together with the Product Owner and senior peers. There is a close collaboration with architects, business and process analysts to design reliable and scalable solutions. We interact on a daily base with the onshore and offshore analysts, developers and testers from our IT delivery partners, to ensure timely delivery of high quality and sustainable solutions.
Your responsibilities :
As a SPOT Business Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in our agile product team, contributing to the continuous development and operation of our product. This role requires a proactive, mindset, where you will take ownership of managing initiatives, change requests, incidents, and releases, ensuring the successful delivery and operational efficiency of our product.
You will work closely with our end users as well as with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and product owners, to prioritize and implement changes that align with our strategic goals. You will also ensure that incidents are promptly addressed, and releases are smoothly executed, all while maintaining a focus on delivering value to our customers.
Your profile:
1. You have a master's or bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience as a business consultant with a strong track record in analysing and designing information systems, especially for integration projects, ideally in Telco or utility sectors
2. You are structured, detail-oriented, and analytical. Experience as a developer/software engineer is a plus.
3. You are a strong communicator, adept at tailoring language to different audiences and have an excellent knowledge of English and Dutch.
4. You are structured and meticulous, with a keen eye for detail without losing the big picture, and have strong analytical skills, conceptual thinking, and pragmatism. You can critically evaluate ideas and options.
5. You are passionate about agile methodologies (scrum), fostering teamwork among analysts, developers, and testers;
6. You are capable of working independently, taking initiative, and seeking help when needed.
7. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to perform conceptual design of business initiatives, and analyze and design innovative solutions for business transformation or current projects.
8. Utilize functional expertise to help develop or adjust the tribe's roadmap, ensuring feasibility with business and technology partners in line with strategic objectives.
9. Detail and document the chosen solution direction, final solutions, and related business requirements, procedures, and data scripts. Align and validate these with stakeholders, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and full legal compliance.
