We are looking for an experienced IT Solution Architect to join our mission of driving a greener world. Based in Leuven, Belgium, the successful candidate will play a key role in the digital transformation of large-scale battery factories and offices across Europe, Asia, and the United States.
Your key responsibilities will be
1. Design and implement private cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
2. Implement enterprise-level solutions for Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
3. Define networking architecture, including L2/L3 networking, VPN, wireless, and firewall configurations.
4. Design, implement, and operate datacenter solutions including networking, powering, and infrastructure.
5. Implement enterprise security solutions, including identity management and endpoint security.
6. Ensure patch management, upgrades, and lifecycle management for enterprise platforms.
7. Develop disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BCP) strategies.
8. Document architectural designs, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.
9. Ensure compliance with industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate has
1. Between 2 and 5 years of experience working as an IT Solution Architect.
2. Hands-on experience with one or more of the private cloud solution providers (Redhat, Azure local, Google GDCE, Cloudfront, VMware, etc.).
3. Deep knowledge of enterprise networking; L2/L3, LAN/WAN, VPN, etc. Multi-site networking experience is a huge plus.
4. Experience in enterprise solutions administration; Exchange, Active Directory, MFA, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
5. Proficiency in both Linux and Windows operating systems, including administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
6. Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or similar).
7. Hands-on experience with at least one major firewall or security platform (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA, or similar).
8. Knowledge of industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
9. Prior experience with SAP ECC/HANA architecture and lifecycle management is a plus.
10. Experience in datacenter operations, including networking, power, cooling, and infrastructure management.
11. Structured documentation habits and able to produce design documents, procedures, and guidelines.
12. Technical certification in any of the above is a plus, but hands-on delivered experience is more important.
