Nexeo is currently looking for a Financial Reporting Officer for a leading financial institution in Brussels.
Nexeo Belgium is a consultancy company supporting clients in the banking, finance, and insurance sectors throughout all phases of their transformation projects, from business consulting to IT solution implementation.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Support in the segregation of duties analysis and transfer of operational tasks from Finance to Operations.
2. Document processes and assist in e-invoicing implementation.
3. Propose improvements for controls and processes in the finance department.
4. Prepare internal audit missions and analyze ways to reduce manual entries.
5. Learn operational tasks (e.g., payments and reconciliation) and act as a back-up for team members.
Your Profile:
1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in economics, accounting, or equivalent.
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, MS Office (Excel, Access), and automation tools.
4. Fluent in French and English; good knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
