We are looking for a SENIOR ACCOUNTANT for one of our clients,
starting on A FIXED-TERM EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT, with the opportunity to
move into a permanent position after 9 months, subject to performance
and mutual agreement.

Profil recherché :
RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a reliable SENIOR ACCOUNTANT to manage the day-to-day
financial operations of a fast-growing company in the holiday park and
hospitality sector.
In this role, you will handle the FULL BOOKKEEPING CYCLE, VAT RETURNS,
ANNUAL ACCOUNTS, and a variety of operational finance tasks. You will
work primarily with EXACT ONLINE, as well as RECRANET, our reservation
system that integrates parts of the financial flow.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of financial
data, delivering precise reporting, and maintaining compliance with
local regulations.
- Record and process purchase and sales invoices
- Prepare and submit monthly VAT declarations in
accordance with Belgian legislation
- Issue outgoing invoices across multiple entities and
services
- Prepare the annual financial statements
- Execute and follow up on supplier payments and other
financial obligations
- Handle and monitor bank transactions, loan repayments,
and financing arrangements
- Coordinate and verify payroll-related entries, in
cooperation with external providers
- Reconcile accounts and ensure consistency between Exact
and Recranet
- Prepare and reconcile cash reports for the on-site
hospitality venues and holiday parks
- Support audit procedures by ensuring proper
documentation and accounting files
YOUR PROFILE :
- You have around 5 YEARS' EXPERIENCE in accounting
- You are used to working for an SME
- You have the skills to work independently
- Good understanding of Belgian accounting standards and VAT
legislation
- detail-oriented, proactive, rigorous, organized, and flexible
- You have experience with ExacOnline and excellent Excel skills
- Proficiency in DUTCH AND ENGLISH. Knowing French is a plus.
