About The Role
The
Business Analyst
is responsible for establishing efficient business processes, capturing business needs, and translating them into specifications for IT systems. You will bridge the gap between the business/users and various IT partners including functional analysts, project leaders, and architects. The aim is to develop and maintain IT tools that optimally support business processes.
Key responsibilities
* Model business processes and assist in redesigning existing processes.
* Identify data concepts for different processes and determine the impact of SAP migration.
* Challenge and refine the "to-be" processes in collaboration with the business.
* Develop business information models that detail the necessary requirements (interfaces, screens, reports).
* Align and validate requirements with business and IT teams.
* Plan adjustments to processes or applications.
* Post-implementation, test and validate releases, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
* Play an active role in change management including preparing training materials and conducting trainings using the change management toolkit.
What we're looking for
We are seeking a candidate with a technical or economic master's degree or equivalent experience.
* Preferred candidates will have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as a business analyst
* Strong analytical skills, with a critical mindset to challenge processes.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, building consensus and convincing stakeholders.
* Skilled in planning and organizing.
* Customer-oriented with a flexible approach.
* Proficiency in BPMN and UML.
* Experience with tools like EA (Enterprise Architect), Jira, and DevOps is a plus.
* Required: Proficiency in English; strong proficiency in either Dutch or French with at least basic proficiency in the other.
