Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site R&D Intern position located in Ghent.
Duration: 6 months
Start Date: Feb 2026
* Conduct literature reviews and analyze patents.
* Perform lab-scale trials to test and evaluate the functionality of identified ingredients.
* Collect and analyze data from experimental work, preparing reports and presentations.
* Support the documentation of findings, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
* Assist in tracking progress and managing timelines for the research project.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Research and Development (R&D) and hands-on Laboratory Skills
* Strong Analytical Skills to assess data and contribute to product development
* Excellent Communication skills for team collaboration and report preparation
* Relevant educational background in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic working environment
* Previous experience in a research or laboratory setting is a plus
