Nalys is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team on a fixed-term assignment supporting a pharmaceutical partner in Walloon Brabant, in Belgium.This is a hands-on PM role focused on delivery of engineering and automation works within capital projects. If you thrive in collaborative, technical environments and enjoy driving execution from procurement through commissioning, this is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact within a respected specialist consultancy.
Responsibilities
As The Project Engineering Manager, you will:
Lead and coordinate day-to-day project execution activities, ensuring delivery against schedule, budget and quality targetsManage procurement activities and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to secure timely delivery of long‐lead items and servicesCoordinate engineering, installation and commissioning work streams, ensuring seamless handovers between design, site and operations teamsAct as primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating clear communication, progress reporting and risk mitigationEnsure compliance with applicable industry standards, internal processes and project governanceTrack project KPIs, produce regular status reports and implement corrective actions when requiredSupport close-out activities, lessons learned and documentation handover at project completion.
Your Profile
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical disciplineYou have proven experience as a Project Manager on capital projects in the pharmaceutical or life‐sciences sector (automation/engineering projects preferred)You have strong track record managing procurement, subcontractors and on-site execution phases including commissioningYou are an excellent stakeholders manager, with communication and and leadership skillsYou have solid planning and risk management capabilities, with comfort using project management tools and producing structured reportsYou are fluent in English and FrenchYou are available to start on short notice for a full‐time assignment through year‐end (flexibility for handover support desirable).
