ELECTRONIC ENGINEER - LEUVEN REGION (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITIONWe're currently recruiting for an Electronics Engineer who will play a key role in the design, development, and validation of electronic systems and subsystems, with a strong emphasis on analog and digital circuit design. This position combines analytical engineering work with hands-on laboratory activity, offering the opportunity to be involved in every stage of the hardware development lifecycle.In this role, you will contribute to the creation of new electronic designs from initial requirements and concepts through schematic development, prototyping, and testing. You will work closely with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are robust, manufacturable, and meet performance and reliability goals. The role also involves investigating and resolving technical issues, refining designs based on test results, and supporting the transition of electronics from development into production. Key Responsibilities:Design and analyze analog and digital electronic circuits for system and subsystem applicationsDevelop schematics, select components, and support PCB layout and design reviewsAssemble, bring up, and debug electronic prototypesPerform electrical testing and validation, including functional, performance, and reliability testingTroubleshoot and resolve electronic design issues during development and productionProduce and maintain engineering documentation, including specifications and test reportsSupport manufacturing activities such as first article builds and issue resolutionCollaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development processQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field3-5+ years of professional experience in a similar positionStrong foundation in analog and digital electronicsHands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and debugging electronic circuitsProficiency with standard electronic lab equipmentExperience using schematic capture and PCB design toolsAbility to analyze and troubleshoot electronic designs effectivelyThe Offer:A permanent, full-time employment contractA salary & benefits package commensurate with experiencePlease send over your CV to tom.walker@vividresourcing.com or call me on +32 (0) 3 318 00 74.
