We provide both permanent and interim contracts. We are currently recruiting an Operations and Logistics Assistant for one of our clients, a friendly family business, based in Brussels. Salary package: Monthly salary in line with experience. Coordinate the transportation of goods via various modes, including road, rail, barge, and container shipping. Handle negotiations with providers to obtain optimal transport rates. Provide administrative and logistical support to the Sales Department. Act as a liaison with clients, vendors, and logistics partners. Oversee order processing and ensure timely follow-up. Maintain accurate stock levels and manage inventory records. Review shipping, customs, and insurance documentation for accuracy. Audit and validate supplier and logistics invoices. Organise and maintain physical and digital filing systems. Perform routine clerical duties and assist with documentation. Prepare and process sales and procurement invoices Interested in working within a hands-on, operational environment. Proficiency in French, English, and German is essential; Dutch is a plus. Skilled in Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook. Demonstrates curiosity, adaptability, and a strong desire for growth. Possesses excellent interpersonal and Customer Service skills. Flexible, multi-skilled, and dependable with a strong sense of responsibility. Organised and methodical in handling tasks. Capable of managing pressure and shifting priorities effectively.
