About the role
As the National Care Lead Osteoporosis, you will lead the development and execution of post-fracture care strategies for the Belgian osteoporosis ecosystem. Your mission is to enhance systematic diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and care for fragility fracture patients—improving both patient experience and outcomes. This field-based role (approx. 60%) focuses on strengthening post-fracture care strategy, project management, and in-field implementation with key stakeholders. You will report to the Sales & Marketing Lead Osteoporosis BNL and can be based at our Brussels HQ or work from home when not in the field.

You build lasting partnerships with key stakeholders like care networks, hospitals, and health organizations, while collaborating internally to coordinate care plans.
What will you do
1. Identify areas of high fragility fracture burden using available datasets and tools
2. Develop solutions based on a deep understanding of the patient pathway and care ecosystem
3. Build strong partnerships with senior-level external stakeholders to shape strategies and policies for osteoporosis care
4. Lead and implement projects in osteoporosis care, including FLS (Fracture Liaison Services), in collaboration with internal and external partners
5. Drive coordinated care and support the development of local osteoporosis networks
6. Manage cross-functional projects with Sales, Medical, MSL, UCB Cares, and Marketing teams
7. You will drive innovative projects, educational initiatives, and value-based solutions to position UCB as a trusted partner.
8. Monitor and report on performance, develop community plans, and set KPIs for outcome-driven customer experiences
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience, and skills:
9. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred (Ph.D., J.D., or M.D. also considered)
10. Driving license Cat. B
11. 5+ years of healthcare-related experience in sales, marketing, market access, or field medical roles; experience in the osteoporosis ecosystem is preferred
12. Experience in cross-functional project leadership and relevant ecosystem expertise
13. Deep knowledge of the Belgian healthcare system and osteoporosis therapeutic area
14. Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
15. Fluency in Dutch, French, and English
16. Ability to develop impactful solutions aligned with ecosystem drivers and regulatory guidelines
