The Business Analyst – Testing Support role is to assist project team members, both business and IT, in preparing and executing testing activities. In this capacity, they represent the business interests throughout the various testing phases.
Testing activities primarily involve System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), mainly within our environment. End-to-end testing may also be performed.
In this role, the Business Analyst – Testing Support is responsible for the following activities:
* Assisting business teams in preparing and executing tests
* Providing support to business teams during test execution, if necessary
* Creating and tracking defects (anomalies), following up with stakeholders, and updating tracking dashboards
* Participating in functional analysis and clarification workshops
* Providing general support for testing activities
* Communicating test progress to the test coordinator, project manager, and other stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance with our testing governance
* Conducting functional analyses and/or gap analyses upon request
