# About YouTo be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience: **Essential criteria** 1. Registration as a nurse with the NMC or a registered healthcare professional with HCPC or General Pharmaceutical Council; or other international equivalence and an MSc or equivalent relevant to the themes of the Faculty and this role2. Experience of the planning and delivering high-quality evaluated education at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels with a strong focus on a high-quality inclusive student experience and success. For *Senior Lecturer* this will include a major education-related leadership role with evidence of improvement in student experience3. Evidence of commitment to continued development in evidence-based practice, research methods and evidence relevant to care, with up-to-date knowledge, skills and accomplishments, able to supervise MSc and undergraduate student projects and critically appraise a wide range of relevant research, including data presentation and basic analysis4. Ability to work well as an effective and inclusive member of teams and networks and to share and encourage good practice in teaching and research and to inspire and motivate others, including in challenging environments. For *Senior Lecturer* the applicant should have an emergent understanding of the range of work underway in the Faculty and across King’s, to enhance this team work5. Excellent administrative and organisational skills, underpinned by strong interpersonal skills and personal effectiveness, as well as excellent written, verbal and digital communication skills with the ability to deliver high quality work and projects to deadlines, work efficiently and prioritise appropriately, and take individual responsibility for planning and undertaking work6. A commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusivity for staff and students7. Publications, conference presentations and/or applicant on funding to support educational enhancement, service improvement, research and/or scholarship. For *Senior Lecturer* evidence of strong publication history including acting as first or last author on papers for a relevant professional or academic journal or book chapter in the last three years8. Experience of developing, delivering and evaluating education related to healthcare leadership and management **Desirable criteria** 1. PhD or equivalent relevant to themes of the Faculty and this role2. Experience of innovative and effective approaches to teaching, including distance learning, blended learning, digital learning and or simulation (virtual and/or face to face), with appropriate training completed3. Experience of co-leading/leading research projects, education activities or clinical service. For *Senior Lecturer* evidence of being an applicant or co-applicant on grant applications for education innovation and evaluation4. Experience of course development, with creative approaches to assessment., providing robust, developmental and constructive feedback at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels5.
