Are you a senior expert in eDiscovery and Machine Learning looking to make a massive impact on the European regulatory landscape?
We are looking for a Senior Digital Technical Expert to lead complex, high-stakes data operations for a major European Institution in Brussels. This isn't just about managing data: it’s about defining the standards for how AI and ML are used in large-scale investigations.
The Mission:
You will conduct and supervise all phases of the EDRM, bridging the gap between cutting-edge data science and legal enforcement.
What you’ll do:
ML Optimization: Build and fine-tune classifiers to improve accuracy, precision, and recall in document analysis.
Strategic Advisory: Guide case teams on TAR (Technology Assisted Review) and workflows using tools like Nuix, Reveal, Brainspace, and Relativity.
Data Governance: Collaborate with IT stakeholders and investigated companies to ensure data integrity and quality.
Policy Leadership: Contribute to internal standards for the use of AI, NLP, and ML in competition investigations.
What we’re looking for:
✅ Deep technical mastery of the EDRM lifecycle.
✅ Hands-on experience with advanced eDiscovery platforms.
✅ Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, international environment.
✅ Fluency in English (all work and documentation is in English).
✅ Based in (or willing to relocate to) Brussels/Belgium.
✅ Past experience at the EU-level is a plus.
✅ Freelancers only.
✅ At least 5 years of work experience in this field.
