Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is passionate about optimizing fleet operations and ensuring seamless locomotive performance with at least 5 years of experience to keep our locomotive fleet running smoothly! If you"re a pro at juggling maintenance schedules, fleet monitoring, and forecasting with top-notch Excel skills, all while keeping customers happy, we want to hear from you. Bonus points if you speak both English and German and thrive on adapting to whatever challenges roll your way!
WHAT WOULD KEEP YOU BUSY
1. Fleet Monitoring: keep a close eye on our locomotive fleet"s status, whether operational, on/off lease, or in maintenance, ensuring everything runs smoothly
2. Forecasting: provide accurate forecasts for fleet planning, aiding in remarketing efforts and ensuring optimal utilization
3. Inspection Protocols: prepare detailed delivery and re-delivery inspection protocols to maintain high standards
4. Utilization Reporting: monitor and report on fleet utilization, tracking engine and running hours, as well as kilometers covered
5. Customer and Service Provider Liaison: collaborate with full-service providers and customers, supporting commercial managers and the full-service manager to deliver exceptional service
6. Maintenance Supervision: oversee maintenance planning to minimize locomotive downtime and ensure efficient operations
7. Forward Planning: manage the fleet"s heavy maintenance history to ensure accurate forward planning and maintenance schedules
8. Breakdown Management: handle breakdowns, failures, and repair requests for locomotives under Full Service, ensuring quick resolutions
9. System Input: provide essential input into fleet planning tools and ERP systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
WHAT YOU BRING TO OUR TEAM
If you are excited about joining our team, here is what we are looking for in the ideal candidate:
10. At least 5+ years of experience in fleet management, account management, logistics, or a similar field ideally in an international context
11. Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications is a must, knowledge of Salesforce and MS Power platform and asset management software are a plus
12. Excellent planning and organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently
13. Strong analytical capabilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving
14. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to manage complex stakeholder relationships and communicate clearly
15. Strong customer service orientation to meet and exceed customer expectations
16. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle unexpected challenges with ease
17. Comfortable working under pressure, dealing with incidents, and managing shifting priorities
18. Fluency in English is essential, proficiency in German is a strong advantage
