The Electrical Engineer will support the delivery of electrical systems on mission-critical data centre projects. The role involves coordinating design, installation, and commissioning activities to ensure systems are delivered safely, on time, and in line with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the execution of electrical works across data centre projects
* Coordinate installation of HV/LV systems, switchgear, UPS, generators, and distribution systems
* Review drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
* Ensure compliance with project standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations
* Liaise with MEP teams, subcontractors, and design consultants
* Monitor site progress and support resolution of technical issues
* Assist with testing, commissioning, and energisation activities
* Support preparation of handover documentation and as-built records
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in electrical engineering within construction projects
* Strong understanding of power distribution, critical systems, and electrical infrastructure
* Experience working in a fast-paced site environment
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Strong coordination and communication skills
Desirable:
* Experience on data centre or mission-critical projects
* Familiarity with Tier III / Tier IV standards
* Knowledge of commissioning processes and electrical testing procedures
