Duties & Role:
1. Provisioning & Deployment: Prepare, configure, and deploy workstations using imaging tools. Maintain an organized inventory of hardware assets and peripherals
2. Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for Windows 10/11 devices. This includes managing driver updates, BIOS configurations, and local peripheral support.
3. Identity & Access Management: Manage user accounts, security groups, and permissions within Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID. Assist with password resets and MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) enrolment.
4. Software Lifecycle Management: Support the general office application suite (Office, Adobe) and proprietary business applications. Ensure all endpoints remain compliant through regular patching and remote software distribution as directed by cyber team
5. Network & Connectivity Support: Troubleshoot LAN connectivity to ensure seamless communication across the organization.
6. Assists in improving OS and application security by performing regular patching as tasked
7. Assists in performing cyber hygiene remediation tasks as directed by Cyber Security
8. Support different local projects as required.
Requirements
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
9. The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
10. Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience in a technical support or helpdesk role. Or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years post- related experience.
11. OS Expertise: Advanced proficiency in supporting Windows 10/11 Professional/Enterprise.
12. Technical Skills: Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), and basic networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
13. Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
14. English language command - fluent (advanced).
