Account Management, Retail, Sales, Wearables, Mobile Accessories, Consumer Electronics, Trilingual Your new company Hays is currently recruiting a Junior Key Account Manager Retail for one of its clients active in the technology and consumer electronics sector, within an international group recognised for its innovative mindset and strong results‑driven culture.The company employs several hundred people worldwide and has a solid presence in Belgium and Luxembourg. Its culture is dynamic, collaborative and performance‑oriented, with strong attention paid to talent development and accountability. This role is part of a fast‑growing Mobile division, within a close‑knit sales team that offers autonomy combined with support. Your new role As Junior Key Account Manager Retail, you are responsible for the commercial performance of a portfolio of key retail accounts in Belgium and Luxembourg, with a focus on mobile accessories such as smartwatches, earbuds, fitness bands and smart rings. Your main responsibilities include: Customer retention (approx. 50%) Manage and develop existing retail accounts Build and execute annual and quarterly business plans Maintain strong relationships at head‑office level Identify commercial opportunities through product launches, promotions and lifecycle management Negotiate commercial agreements and conditions Ensure the right product assortment and optimal in‑store positioning Reporting & Analysis Prepare commercial reports on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis Analyse sell‑in and sell‑out data and market insights, including GfK data Monitor forecasts, turnover and account performance Identify risks and opportunities based on data analysis Marketing & Activation Initiate promotions and commercial actions Coordinate closely with marketing teams and retail partners Translate marketing plans into concrete in‑store activations Strengthen brand visibility and stimulate sell‑out Internal collaboration Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Logistics and Finance teams Coordinate internal stakeholders throughout planning and execution Present data and commercial plans using PowerPoint Budget & Planning Take ownership of forecasting and planning Ensure efficient use of commercial budgets Monitor sales KPI’s and targets The role combines office‑based work and field presence, with fixed office days for sales and supply chain meetings, and the remaining time spent with clients in the field. Your profile You have around 3 years of experience in account management within retail, FMCG or consumer electronics You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in business, economics or marketing You are fluent in Dutch (C2) and have a professional level of French and English (minimum B2) You are comfortable with figures, data analysis, reporting and CRM tools You have strong interpersonal skills and collaborate easily with different departments You are analytical, results‑oriented, proactive and motivated by commercial performance An affinity with consumer electronics, technology or the retail ecosystem is a strong asset This role is ideal for an ambitious junior profile who is curious, driven and eager to grow in a demanding yet highly learning‑oriented environment.
