Purchaser – E&I Segment
As a Purchaser, you manage the purchasing strategy and performance for the E&I segment, acting as the link between technical/industrial teams and suppliers to secure availability, quality, cost, and industrialization.
Responsibilities:Define requirements and technical specs with R&D, production, and quality.Source and select suppliers, run RFQs and tender processes, and recommend awards.Negotiate prices, lead times, and commercial terms; manage contracts and support dispute resolution.Support product and process consistency with multi-site technical teams.Monitor and improve supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery).Oversee industrialization, production start-up, technical changes, and issue resolution.Optimize cost/quality/lead time over the product life cycle.
Profile:Engineering degree or Master's in management/business.Strong technical background in a demanding industrial environment.Proven experience in technical purchasing and complex negotiations.Project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and suppliers.Analytical, rigorous, pragmatic, and autonomous.Comfortable in an international environmentStrong negotiation and communication skills; able to build relationships and act as a bridge internally and externally.Proactive, change-oriented, and interested in innovation and continuous improvement.Strong IT skills, especially Excel.Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a strong asset.Minimum 1 year of experience as Buyer!
