Indirect Procurement Specialist
The Indirect Procurement Operations Category Buyer plays a vital role in overseeing indirect operations spend, encompassing sourcing, category management, and consumption management across various categories.
This position is responsible for managing complex sourcing projects through a disciplined category management process, implementing strategies to support the organization. The Indirect Procurement Specialist will oversee mostly regional spend and design new (sub)category strategies, if needed.
This individual contributor role reports directly to the Indirect Procurement Manager. Located at our headquarters, this position offers consideration for a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform in-depth spend and market analysis to identify sourcing opportunities regionally and/or globally, driving incremental value through savings and improved supplier efficiencies.
2. Support the development and execution of multi-year savings plans.
3. Drive cost reduction opportunities and activities through savings workshops, negotiations, RFPs, alternate sourcing, and supplier consolidation.
4. Prepare and lead negotiations with suppliers.
5. Oversee the implementation of new suppliers and manage their performance through a structured SRM process.
6. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure necessary buy-in and effective change management.
7. Develop actionable recommendations based on clear options and tradeoffs.
8. Help design, challenge, and implement robust and sustainable sourcing strategies, as well as develop internal/supplier relationships that extract maximum value from the current and potential supplier base.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering.
* Minimum 3-5 years of relevant Indirect Procurement experience.
* Experience with diverse indirect spend categories across operations & facilities.
* Comfortable reviewing contracts from a commercial perspective.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong analytical and project management skills.
* Ability to work in a matrix and multicultural environment.
* Ability to think strategically.
* Proficient in English; other European languages, especially Dutch and French, are a plus.
