Apply today!SummaryThe Senior Product Manager is a member of the Group Purchasing Organization and typically responsible for a larger product or set of products that make up a larger solution. They are accountable for creating successful outcomes related to the product(s) they manage by defining a product outcome and guiding the work of one or more development teams (possibly in collaboration with one or more Product Owners). The Senior Product Manager must have a very good understanding of their business and product(s) and will own the roadmap and product deliverables for those product(s). They are expected to uncover and prioritize unmet user needs, define and communicate a clear product vision, develop a detailed product strategy, prioritize features and initiatives, and ensure successful outcomes are aligned to business goals.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesDeliver business value through a robust, prioritized, and appropriately sequenced roadmapLead the end-to-end delivery of product enhancements and other changes to ensure the product meets the needs of internal and external stakeholdersProactively use data, customer insight, and intuition to identify and plan product improvements that will improve the customer experience, and increase the value of the solution to the businessOwn the GTM strategy for every release by defining target customer segments, release timing, customer communications, and helping ensuring the readiness of users, customer support, and commercial teamsCommunicate early and often with product management leadership to help coordinate work across teams, helping ensure that changes in their area do not negatively impact other teams or other features within the larger solutionActively collaborate with product management leadership and provide insight into higher-level cross-product roadmap and solution strategyCollaborate with key stakeholders and other teams to understand user needs then devise and prioritize solutions in collaboration with their team(s) to meet those needsFamiliarity with competitor products, their value propositions and capabilitiesPlays a key role in delivering capabilities and features that enable a consistent and connected omnichannelAct as a leader within their product(s) and an evangelist of those product(s) across the company; works closely with sales, customer experience, customer service, marketing, pricing and others to this endRegularly engage with external customers early and often to understand requirements, able understand and apply information from user feedback sessions, and demonstrate new functionality to end users where appropriatePerform other duties as assignedEducationRequires broad training in fields such as healthcare, information technology, computer science, business administration, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree program.Skillsets & Desired ExperienceGenerally requires a minimum of seven (7) years related and progressively responsible experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.Should understand the basics of business process modeling, software development lifecycle planning, and Agile software development.Experience in Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry is desirable.Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization (directors, managers, engineers, quality assurance analysts, end users, etc.)Proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams without formal authorityAbility to self-learn and seek out knowledge to improve understanding of technology solutionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detailStrong problem solving, planning, analysis, teamwork, and organizational skillsConfident presentation skills in small and large groupsExcellent discovery and active listening skillsAbility to use good judgment in conveying status and problem escalationProvides coaching and mentoring to team membersMust be comfortable working on a team with daily accountability for keeping commitmentsDemonstrated working knowledge of product management and Agile software lifecycle methodologiesWhat Cencora offersWe provide compensation, benefits, and resources that enable a highly inclusive culture and support our team members’ ability to live with purpose every day. The actual range may vary based on your locale.
