Your Responsibilities as a Senior Data Product Manager
You work with the business teams to take fact-based and data-driven decisions on high impact topics. This typically includes the following activities:
1. As a Data Product Manager you shape data products to your stakeholders needs and manage your data product roadmap with high focus on value generation.
2. You'll convert business needs into robust, user-friendly dataset designs. This involves analyzing and mapping data from sources, ensuring quality through validations, setting up structural checks, visualizing overarching data flows, and crafting detailed documentation to guide our data engineers.
3. You build strong and constructive partnerships with business stakeholders to educate them on essential data concepts and to encourage data-driven decision-making.
4. You closely collaborate with IT applications stakeholders and architects to ensure data requirements to fulfill business objectives are properly captured in the applications we source from
5. You act as a data ambassador, educating the broader data community about new and improved valuable datasets, sharing knowledge and best practices
6. You report to and closely collaborate with the Product Owner. You align on data product roadmaps and provide input for backlog prioritization.
7. You coach, guide and inspire junior profiles in your team

Our Ideal Senior Data Product Manager...
12. Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Business Engineering, Applied Economics, Computer Sciences, Information Management…) or equivalent by experience
13. At least 5 years of experience in a data analyst, functional Analyst, business insights, business intelligence or similar role
14. Able to interconnect different data information needs and business processes and translating this into a future proof data solution
15. Proven experience with requirements gathering, functional analysis, data modelling
16. Strong communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders and the ability to influence decision makers
17. Strong understanding of data flows & design
18. Good understanding of SQL is a must
19. Experience with Cloud technologies (snowflake is a plus)
20. Ability to bridge the gap between business & data
21. High attention to customer experience
22. Fluent in English and Dutch or French
23. Experience in working in an Agile organization
