For a leading research center in nanoelectronics located in the region of Bertem, we are currently looking for a Team Leader PVD Process Engineering. Our client is a key player in advanced semiconductor research and attracts more than €350 million in international R&D funding annually, supporting the development of next‑generation digital and chip technologies.
As Team Leader, you will manage a PVD Process Engineering team of 9 experienced engineers, operating in a shift‑based environment. The team is responsible for ensuring the quality, stability and availability of Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) processes in both 200mm and 300mm cleanrooms.
You combine people management with technical leadership and a long‑term strategic vision. Your responsibilities include workload planning across shifts and tools, driving quality and cycle‑time improvements, monitoring KPIs, ensuring proper training and safety, and representing the team in cross‑functional collaborations. xlxgzvr The team is expected to grow significantly in the coming years, making this a key role in the further expansion of the 300mm cleanroom.
Profiel
Master’s degree in Engineering or Science
Minimum 10 years of industrial experience in semiconductor process engineering
Proven hands‑on experience with PVD or other plasma deposition technologies
Background in high-volume manufacturing or production fabs (R&D‑only profiles are not suitable)
Demonstrable people management experience or clear potential to step into a senior leadership role
Fluent in English (Dutch is not required)
