QA Document Controller - Construction Projects
Location: Charleroi
A well-established international engineering and construction services provider is seeking a QA Document Controller to support the delivery of complex, high-quality projects. This organisation delivers multidisciplinary engineering solutions across sectors including mechanical, electrical, fire protection, energy, and advanced building technologies.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a structured quality environment, supporting project teams through robust document control and QA/QC processes on technically demanding projects.
The Role
As a QA/QC Document Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring project documentation is accurately managed, compliant with quality requirements, and issued in line with project milestones. You will work closely with Quality Managers, QA/QACX leads, and multidisciplinary engineering teams, both on-site and in an office-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with Quality Managers and QACX personnel to support project QA processes
* Carry out general administrative duties, including accurate data entry and system updates
* Maintain and update project quality trackers and registers
* Ensure timely upload of tagging, commissioning, and quality documentation to client portals
* Interface with internal Quality Management Systems (QMS)
* Maintain and manage BIM 360 issues, reviews, and document uploads
* Organise documentation in accordance with agreed electronic document control structures
* Maintain and update asset registers, commissioning documentation registers, and closeout/handover records
* Issue technical submittals for review across all document types
* Create, issue, and maintain minutes for QACX meetings (virtual and in-person)
Skills & Experience
* 2-3 years' experience in a similar document control or QA/QC role within the construction or engineering sector preferred
* Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Google Workspace tools
* Previous experience using document control platforms such as BIM 360 or similar systems is advantageous
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
* Training on internal systems will be provided
