Mission context:
The Solution Architect leads the process that develops solutions to fit the enterprise architecture in terms of a business, information, and technical standpoint and considering architectural practices, rules and principles of the BNP Paribas Group/
Key activities:
Support and control the implementation of the architectural rules and decisions, before and after installation in production
Define, document and maintain the reference architecture, always keeping "simplification" in mind
Active participation in the architectural committees
Communication of current and target architecture, rules and good practice
Stay in touch with technology evolutions, incorporating them in the company architecture where appropriate
Options Analysis, System/Component requirements specification,
IT architecture strategy, city plans
Scope:
Main focus will be on the implementation of a new claims application in the landscape of both the Belgian and Dutch entity. This comprises out of several streams where contribution is required;
Business process stream; identify interfaces and data sources based on claims process journey
Integration stream; ensure application of API principles, standards, rules and best practices. Define functional & technical specifications (structure/formats, interface contract specifications,...)
Data stream; finalize BeNe CLAIMS Information & Data model, based on Cardif corporate data model
Security stream; integration with strong authentication solution
Participation to other projects concerning the functional, application & technical landscapes of both Cardif Belgium as The Netherlands.
Education Bachelor or Master level in Computer Science Engineering or related field
Certification TOGAF or Zachman Framework is desired
Travel:
Function is based in Brussels. Remote working is allowed for 2 days a week. Willing to travel to NL occasionally if allowed in pandemic context.
Has a car license and travels by car. Considering the pandemic context, one precision would be to avoid public transport
Required experience:
Knowledge At least 5 years of relevant experience
Technical experience – mandatory:
Knowledge of functional/technical/application architecture and architectural urbanization rules.
Experience with architectural modelling.
Analysis and definition of functional architectures and integration solutions Experienced in SOA approach
Business experience – mandatory:
Experience in the banking/insurance sector
Experience in assisting the business project manager in their projects
