We are currently seeking a Java/Angular Developer to design, develop and maintain scalable enterprise applications within a complex ecosystem for a prestigious European Institution in Brussels.
️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java (Spring Boot) in a microservices and cloud-oriented environment;
Contribute to the definition and evolution of application and component architecture, ensuring scalability, performance and maintainability;
Develop and integrate RESTful web services and ensure interoperability between multiple information systems;
Contribute to frontend development using Angular, building responsive and maintainable user interfaces;
Support CI/CD processes, testing activities, deployment and technical documentation;
Collaborate with stakeholders, participate in technical meetings and contribute to solution design and decision-making;
Assist in cloud migration and modernization initiatives, improving existing systems and resolving production issues when needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot (minimum 4+ years), with solid back-end development expertise;
Proven experience in designing and consuming web services (REST APIs, microservices architecture);
Good knowledge of Angular (minimum 3+ years) and modern front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript);
Experience with relational databases (Oracle or similar) and data modelling;
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices (Jenkins, Git, Atlassian tools);
Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms is a strong asset;
University degree in IT or related field;
Fluency in English (C1) and French (B2)
Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.
This is a hybrid role, requiring on-site presence at the Brussels office 1-2 days per week.
