Job description
As a Sales Operations Representative / Order Processor, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth order processing and customer satisfaction. You will follow up on orders, report and resolve incidents, and communicate effectively with both customers and internal departments. You will coordinate shipments with factories and be an integral part of the team based in Brecht, handling orders for the US market.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review incoming customer orders for items, pricing, and export license requirements.
- Process sales orders in the ERP system (SAP) using the ESKER tool.
- Process purchase orders at manufacturing plants, if required.
- Follow up on sales orders with manufacturing plants and warehouses to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate with customers regarding their orders; resolve delivery issues, respond to inquiries, and provide necessary delivery documentation.
- Request export documentation from customers as needed.
- Invoice customers after delivery and monitor customer balances prior to shipment.
- Maintain and closely monitor order backlog.
- Record orders and customer information in internal systems and files.
- Serve as a backup for other Sales Operations Specialists when needed.
Profiel - A college Diploma or equivalent required, AS or higher in business preferred.
- A very good command of English is required; knowledge of any additional languages is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively: strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexible, easy-going and able to adapt to a fast-paced and sometimes changing environment.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize, follow-through, and complete tasks on time.
- Focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure.
- Detail oriented with high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and good level of focus/concentration.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong computer skills ande experience with SAP.
