Budget Planning Specialist
The Budget Planning Specialist will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and optimizing budget-related activities across the EMEA Development Centre (EDC).
This role involves providing regular updates to management on cost evolution, proposing necessary actions to align with targets, and promoting a culture of cost awareness and transparency within the organization.
Main Responsibilities:
* Development of the EDC Resource Plan, including expenses, investments, and workforce requirements.
* Management of the entire EDC budget cycle: tracking, controlling, and reporting of results versus budget, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial targets.
* Implementation of standardized processes related to budget planning, control, and reporting across various development bases in Europe.
* Advocacy for cost responsibility, correctness, and transparency throughout the organization.
* Enhancement of cost planning & monitoring as a key aspect of effective project management.
Key Qualifications:
* Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Commercial Engineering.
* Prior experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Critical thinking, seeking opportunities for process improvement.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills, comfortable in a multicultural environment.
* Advanced Excel skills, knowledge of Power BI and SAP environment considered a plus.
* Fluent in English.
