Power System Team Leader – Transmission Systems (Renewable Integration)

We are now seeking a Power System Operations Expert to support ambitious grid transformation initiatives and the integration of renewables into transmission networks worldwide.
Your Role:
Join a team of engineers and advisors working on the real-time and long-term security, sustainability, and reliability of power systems. Your mission: enable seamless renewable energy integration and support operational planning and market integration in energy systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse and define operational principles and control strategies for transmission systems
* Create and validate models for power system studies (load flow, short circuit, etc.)
* Conduct dynamic simulations for stability analysis (voltage, frequency)
* Perform grid code compliance and connection studies for renewable assets
* Evaluate system reliability, capacity calculation, balancing, and operational security
* Support business development by helping shape technical proposals and building client relationships
The Ideal Candidate:
* Master's in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or similar
* 10+ years' experience in transmission system operation, balancing, and integration of renewables
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex data into practical insights
* Proficiency in simulation tools such as PowerFactory or PSSE
* Fluent in English and French and/or Dutch
* Comfortable with international assignments and working in multicultural teams
