Secretary / Office & Events Coordinator
For one of our clients, an international and technically-oriented organization based in Brussels, we are currently looking for a Secretary to join a small and dynamic team.
This organization represents European companies in the industrial, medical, and food gases sector and operates in a highly international environment, with English as the working language.
Your role
As a Secretary, you will play a central role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office and supporting the organization of high-level international meetings and events.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing administrative support to the General Secretary and team members
* Managing office operations (suppliers, facilities, equipment, maintenance)
* Coordinating with service providers and ensuring a welcoming office environment
* Organizing logistics for meetings and events (venues, hotels, catering, travel, etc.)
* Handling general correspondence, inbox management, and invitations
* Supporting the coordination of international working groups
* Assisting with large-scale events and conferences across Europe (including occasional travel)
Your profile
* Fluent in English (written and spoken) – additional languages (French, Dutch, etc.) are a plus
* Previous experience in a similar administrative or office support role
* Strong organizational and coordination skills
* Proactive, hands-on, and detail-oriented
* Comfortable working in an international and fast-paced environment
* Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
