Role Overview
Koda Staff is partnering with an exciting company that has just opened a new opportunity within one of its new teams. We’re seeking a Business & Service Designer who can connect customer understanding with strategic thinking and experience design. In this role, you will shape early discovery work and define problem spaces, turning complex challenges and user needs into practical, high-value service solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead service-design projects from exploration to concept definition across a range of business areas.
* Run collaborative workshops to build alignment around value propositions, service models, and desired outcomes.
* Turn research insights and business objectives into clear service flows, concepts, and experience frameworks.
* Design and refine multi-channel service journeys, ensuring smooth transitions across touchpoints.
* Spot patterns, gaps, and opportunities across teams, processes, or organisational structures.
* Work closely with product, UX, technology, and data specialists to ensure service concepts are desirable, viable, and implementable.
* Contribute to developing business cases and defining MVP scopes.
Required Experience & Skills
* 4+ years working in service design, business design, strategy, or related roles.
* Familiarity with complex environments such as enterprise systems, B2B contexts, or large-scale public or private ecosystems.
* Strong facilitation abilities and comfort working with diverse stakeholders.
* Skilled in tools and methods for service design (e.g., digital whiteboarding platforms, service blueprinting, journey mapping).
