For one of our clients active in the insurance sector, we are looking for an experienced IT Functional Analyst Non-Life Insurance to join a dynamic and innovative IT environment based in Brussels.
Your Role:
As an IT Functional Analyst, you will act as the bridge between Business and IT teams by translating business needs into functional and technical solutions.
You will contribute to the delivery of strategic projects within a complex and fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
• Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications
• Collaborate closely with Business stakeholders and technical teams
• Support the conversion of functional analysis into technical design
• Prepare and execute functional integration test cases
• Coordinate implementation activities with developers and designers
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations
• Identify and analyze corrective actions when needed
• Report project progress to managers and project leaders
Required Skills & Experience:
• 2 to 5 years of experience as an IT Functional Analyst
• Experience working in large and complex environments
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
• Experience with multi-layer applications
• Knowledge of SQL is a plus
• Experience in the insurance sector is highly appreciated
• Familiarity with methodologies such as Prince2 or TMAP is an advantage
Profile:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
• Result-oriented with strong attention to detail
• Proactive, structured and client-focused mindset
• Fluent in English and either French or Dutch
