The Position
As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a
Robotics-Vision Research Engineer
, to join our teams and work on client projects located in Brussels.
As a Robotics-Vision Research Engineer, your main responsibilities will include :
* Designing and implementing
mockup setups
that closely mimic real-world robotic tasks.
* Extracting
human demonstrations in simulation
and training
robot policies
.
* Validating and testing models
on real robotic systems
.
* Integrating
perception and control algorithms
into robotic systems for
real-world testing
and demonstrations.
* Developing
motion control algorithms
using
reinforcement/imitation learning
.
* Utilizing
computer vision methods
and
vision foundation models
for robotic perception.
* Leveraging
physics simulation environments
for
training and evaluation
of robotic policies.
Your Profile
* Degree in
Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering
, or a related field.
* Research experience and mindset
(minimum MSc level, PhD is a plus).
* 1-3 years of experience
in robotics, computer vision, or AI research.
* Proficiency in
Python and C/C++,OpenCV, PyTorch, TorchVision,ROS1 & ROS2 frameworks
.
* Hands-on experience with
Linux environments, Docker, Git
.
* Familiarity with
physics simulation environments
(Gazebo, PyBullet, Genesis, NVIDIA Omniverse, Unity).
* Fluent in English
(spoken and written).
* Problem-solving mindset
with a practical and pragmatic approach.
* Eager to
learn and stay up to date
with the latest AI and robotics advancements.
