Overview
We currently have a vacancy for an Enterprise Architect fluent in English, to offer services as an expert based in Luxembourg. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Responsibilities
* Review website and services performance and recommend improvements;
* Conduct architectural reviews, identify bottlenecks or technical debt and propose action plans or redesigns;
* Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability;
* Provide technology advice and present and explain architectural options to business;
* Contribute to the design of technical solutions that meet functional requirements;
* Collaborate with IT for the migration toward a more service oriented architecture;
* Promote enterprise architecture thinking, reusable components, shared services, and standardized technology frameworks across different IT business solutions;
* Identify opportunities to improve requirements and release management;
* Draft and execute integration plan of JIRA with Git repository and test cases;
* Identify and assess tools for test automation;
* Assess web content management systems to optimize current content publishing processes;
* Evaluate and recommend technology frameworks, standards, and best practices to optimize performance, security, and cost-efficiency by conducting comparative assessments, benchmarking solutions;
* Advise business on architectural choices to ensure consistency, interoperability, seamless transition to service architecture and long-term sustainability.
Qualifications
* Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and relevant IT professional experience of 17 years;
* Experience in software development processes using version control, continuous integration, quality assurance and ticket management;
* Experience in secure, scalable and resilient Cloud architectures and CI/CD deployment pipelines and good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture;
* Experience in design and testing REST APIs and data integration pipelines;
* Experience with HTML/CSS, XML and JavaScript and Jira;
* Experience with design scalable, interoperable, and secure IT Cloud based systems;
* Experience with ensuring alignment of business solutions with enterprise architecture principles, scalability, and interoperability across the organization; ensure integration between legacy and modern systems;
* Good knowledge of business process analysis and modelling business and functional requirements (UML) and software project management methodologies (e.g. PM², Agile);
* Good knowledge of web technologies and databases and AI, Chatbot and LLMs;
* Familiarity with entity-relationship diagrams, basic knowledge of XML and data management/processing;
* Excellent command of the English language.
