Senior GL Accountant
on a permanent contract in Mechelen.

Your Responsibilities
* Manage the balance sheet and profit & loss accounts
* You will focus on the Belgium market and part of the German market
* Perform account consolidation and reconciliation activities
* Support accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
* Assist in the preparation of VAT and corporate income tax (CIT) declarations, financial statements, and statistical reporting
* Deliver monthly reports and analysis to support other departments
Your Profile
* Really strong knowledge in BE GAAP + Taxation
* You need to be familiar with an manuel working environment
* Minimum of 6 years of experience in a General Accounting role
* An analytical mindset with a high degree of ownership and independence
* Familiarity with VAT/CIT regulations and non-deductible costs is a strong plus
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & experience with SAP is considered an asset
* Strong communication skills in Dutch & English (business proficiency)
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
