Your main responsibilities:
As part of the Quality team, you will report directly to the Head of Quality and work closely with the QMS Manager. Your main responsibilities include:
You are accountable for establishing the SMS and allocating resources to support and maintain an effective SMS
You are responsible for implementing (in accordance with the management top-down commitment), maintaining and adhering to SMS processes in your area
You ensure that employees are responsible for identifying hazards and reporting them
You support the QMS Manager in his own mission (both enhance safety and are essential and complimentary management tools)
You are responsible for raising awareness about SMS to all Sabena Engineering teams (for example, you will be animating trainings on QMS/SMS)
You manage occurrence reporting
You do performance measurement (to ensure that the organization’s safety goals are being achieved)
Your profile:
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quality (or an equivalent qualification), or you have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
Problem-solving, decision- making and good communication are your strong qualities
Your Knowledge of English is good enough to write technical documentation
You feel comfortable working with other departments
You work efficiently under strict deadlines
A first experience in the aeronautical sector is a strong plus
Knowledge of ISO/EN standards together with aeronautical regulations is an advantage
You are a team-player, stress resistant, flexible and eager to learn.
You work precise and accurate and have a pro-active attitude
