OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join a leading global organization in the pharmaceutical sector. This is a 12-month freelance opportunity based in Brussels, offering a dynamic, international work environment and the chance to contribute to critical supply chain operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage supply plans to ensure product availability while optimising inventory levelsCoordinate with manufacturing sites, distribution centres and external partnersMonitor demand forecasts and adjust supply plans accordinglyIdentify and mitigate supply risks and constraintsLead or support S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processesCollaborate cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, quality, and commercial teamsAnalyse KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain
RequirementsProven experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or similar rolesStrong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processesExperience in regulated industries (e.g., pharmaceuticals, biotech, or healthcare) is highly preferredProficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP/APO/IBP) and advanced Excel skillsStrong analytical mindset with attention to detailAbility to work independently in a freelance capacity
LanguagesFluent in English (mandatory)French and/or Dutch (professional working proficiency preferred)
