Proximus Ada is the first Belgian centre of excellence dedicated to artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity (CS). These domains are key in helping Belgian society to face the challenges of today and tomorrow. Our ambition is to become one of the leading players in digital technology in Europe. In our AI team data scientists, data engineers, machine learning engineers and AI business consultants support the Proximus group in creating AI-driven solutions for business problems. Our CS teams manage cyber threats and define strategies to minimise cyber risk and protect our clients' assets.
Proximus Ada is looking for an intern with a strong interest in software engineering, APIs, and cloud technologies. As an intern, you will work on identifying and using relevant Azure and GitHub APIs to scan and analyse projects and repositories that are using internal libraries developed at Proximus Ada.
You will collect and report key project-level metrics such as:
1. Number of commits per project
2. Number of pull requests per project
3. Azure cost per project/resource group
4. Other relevant development and cloud usage metrics
The insights you generate will help us to better understand adoption of our libraries, optimise resource usage, and create data-driven visibility for stakeholders.
You will:
5. Explore Azure and GitHub APIs to collect and structure relevant project data
6. Build scripts or tools that automate the collection of key metrics (commits, PRs, Azure cost, …)
7. Document your methodology and implementation clearly
8. Present your results in a structured and visual way to internal stakeholders
9. Contribute to the improvement of our internal monitoring and reporting practices
Your profile:
10. A master student in a relevant field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Cloud Computing, …)
11. Passionate about coding, APIs, and cloud platforms
12. Familiar with Python and comfortable working with REST APIs and data processing libraries ( requests, pandas)
13. Interested in cloud platforms, ideally Azure, and source control platforms like GitHub
14. Independent, curious & eager to learn new technologies
15. Fluent in English (day-to-day language). Dutch or French is a plus
