Finatal are supporting a highly acquisitive international services business as it appoints a Divisional CFO to help lead the next phase of growth, backed by Tier 1 Private Equity.
The group operates across multiple European countries, delivering essential, contract-based services through a decentralised operating model. The business is well established, profitable, and entering a period of accelerated expansion driven by buy-and-build and geographic growth.
This is a high-impact CFO role with genuine scope and visibility. The successful candidate will work closely with the Group CFO and private equity sponsor, playing a central role in shaping strategy, supporting acquisitions, and professionalising finance as the business scales.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the finance function across a multi-country division
* Own budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, and financial governance
* Act as the primary finance interface with the private equity sponsor
* Support and lead acquisitions and post-merger integration
* Drive the rollout of new financial systems, tools, and controls
* Build and develop a strong international finance team
* Support value creation initiatives and support the business for future exit scenarios
Candidate Profile
We are interested in senior finance leaders who bring:
* Experience as a CFO / Finance Director within services, facilities, outsourcing, or operationally intensive businesses
* Exposure to private equity–backed environments or similar high-growth, investor-led settings
* Experience working across multiple countries or regions
* A track record in change, transformation, or integration
* A commercial, pragmatic mindset and the ability to operate hands-on when required
* Buy-and-build experience and systems implementation exposure are highly desirable
