To support our fast-growing telecom activities, we are looking for a Prevention Advisor Level 1 or on the way to acquiring Level 1 with proven experience in constructions, - constructions installations/networks, telecommunications - is an advantage, who will play a key role in ensuring safe working environments across both mobile and fixed network projects.
As member of a team, your Key Responsibilities :
Risk Analysis & Assessments: Conduct in-depth risk analyses for network construction, installation, and maintenance activities, both on-site and in office-based projects;
Incident & Accident Investigation: Investigate incidents and near-misses, perform root cause analyses, and define corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence;
Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with Belgian safety legislation and telecom-specific standards through inspections, audits, and safety reviews;
Safety Culture Development: Work closely with engineers, contractors, project managers, and management to promote a strong safety culture across the organization;
Training & Awareness: Support the development and delivery of safety trainings, toolbox meetings, and awareness campaigns for internal teams and external partners;
Project Support: Act as a safety partner for telecom projects, advising engineering and deployment teams throughout the project lifecycle;
Certified Prevention Advisor Level 1 or in the process of acquiring Level 1 (mandatory);
Ideally master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Telecommunications Engineering;
Proven experience in constructions, installations construction - including electrical, data, equipment, networks (launch, implementation, maintenance or infrastructure projects) - construction of mobile and/or fixed telecommunications networks is an advantage.
Fluent in French and Dutch, with a good professional knowledge of English, Romanian is a plus;
Able to work independently while collaborating closely with engineering, QHSE, and project teams.
VCA-VOL certification;
Knowledge of Belgian telecom safety standards and regulations;
Experience working with contractors and subcontractors in telecom environments.
