#We are looking for Senior Freelance QA Engineers who can step into complex, regulated production environments and immediately add value at both operational and strategic level.
This is not a maintenance QA role.
This is for professionals who lead, structure, and elevate quality systems.
#You will act as a senior quality authority within HACCP- and GFSI-regulated environments (FSSC 22000 / BRC / IFS), working closely with Production, Technical, and Site Leadership.
Quality Systems & Compliance
Leading internal & external audit preparation (FSSC / BRC / IFS)
Managing deviations, non-conformities & structured root cause investigations
Ensuring compliance with Belgian FASFC/AFSCA and EU regulations
Operational QA Engineering
QA oversight on the production floor
Change control management within manufacturing
Supplier quality performance & risk assessment
Audit crisis management
Quality system restructuring
Greenfield / site expansion QA support
Digitalisation of quality documentation systems
✅ 8+ years’ experience in QA within food manufacturing
~ Proven freelance / contract experience (mandatory)
~ Fluent English (Dutch and/or French highly valued)
~ Active freelance status (Belgian or EU-based)
#Long-term freelance assignments (6–12 months + extension)
