Our client is a machinery manufacturer from components and consumables to complete machines and associated software. With production sites and teams in the US, Europe, and Asia, they have an international reach. To expand their engineering team in Ghent, they are looking for a motivated Electrical Engineer.
You create the necessary planning and installation schedules related to their automation.
For large projects you will coordinate the electrical part on site at the customer (10-20% international travel).
You determine the electrical components in consultation with suppliers and the purchasing department.
You oversee the electrical components and the assembly of electrical cabinets.

You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in electromechanics, electrical engineering, or a similar field with an affinity for electricity.
Experience as an electrical engineer in a machine-building company is preferred but not a must. Recent graduates are also welcome.
You have experience in designing electrical control cabinets and selecting electrical/electronic components.
You can work autonomously while maintaining team spirit.
You are fluent in English and preferably also in Dutch (written and spoken).
