As a Technical Buyer your responsibilities are:
* Identify and source specific components and materials required for construction projects.
* Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best value.
* Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines.
* Collaborate closely with the project and engineering teams to align procurement needs.
* Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new ones as needed.
* Monitor market trends and assess supplier performance regularly.
* Prepare and manage procurement budgets effectively.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all procurement activities.
A successful Technical Buyer should have:
* A degree in engineering, procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
* Solid technical knowledge of components and systems.
* Experience in procurement or supply chain management within the construction industry is a plus.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Proficiency in relevant procurement software and tools.
* Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Proficient knowledge of English is a must. Knowledge of Dutch is a big advantage.
