The European Schools are an intergovernmental organisation offering multilingual and multicultural education. Job description The locally recruited teachers are hired under the employee status to teach in the primary cycle. Profile · Native speaker or thorough knowledge of the teaching language: French / German (depending on the lessons): certified C2 · Recognized qualifications and/or university degree (validated by the relevant authorities) which qualify to teach protestant religion: · Before teaching, any Protestant religion teacher must have a VISA granted via the following procedure: · The visa application is submitted by the candidate by e-mail to Ms Laurence Flachon. In his application, the candidate must specify his contact details (address, telephone, e-mail) and include a CV. In the absence of a response within 20 calendar days, excluding school holidays and public holidays, the visa is considered acquired by the candidate. · Knowledge of the second working language of the school (English/French) · European citizen or person having a valid working permit in Belgium · Ability to teach mixed classes using effective differentiation · Strong motivation in teaching in a multicultural and multilingual environment · Ability to work and to cooperate with colleagues, management and families Offer We are offering contracts in accordance with the Service regulations for the locally recruited teachers in the European schools (Ref.: 2016-05-D-11-en-17) available on the EE website: /> - Starting day: 1 September 2025 - Schedule: 1,5 hours per week for the classes P3/P4/P5 in German; 1 hour per week for theclasses P1 & P2 in German; 1 hour per week for P1 in French. The lessons will take place on Tuesday afternoon. - Availability : Candidates must be available for the school year 2025 / 2026. The school is offering a fixed-term contract until the end of the school year.
