Procurement Specialist

* This role involves analyzing and optimizing procurement needs, maintaining continuous contact with internal business partners, and overseeing the procurement process.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and optimize procurement needs assigned by the Head of Purchasing.
2. Maintain continuous contact with internal business partners to anticipate their procurement needs.
3. Oversee the procurement process, including defining strategies, identifying potential suppliers, conducting tenders, negotiating terms and conditions, and implementing contracts.
4. Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with Group's rules, Health, Safety, Sustainable Development policies, and Ethics standards.
5. Document savings according to Group's rules.
6. Participate in status and team meetings, support local supplier management activities, and facilitate issue resolution with Accounting and Business.
Requirements:

* A Master's degree in a field that has developed analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Dutch and English language proficiency. French is desirable but not required.
* Ability to develop business partnerships by being physically present where power plants and business partners are located.
* Flexibility to visit suppliers occasionally.
* Well-organized, good communicator, and willing to add value.
