Network Engineer
Group Technology Services (GTS) plans, builds and runs the global infrastructure of Euroclear, and is additionally responsible for the IT service management to the operating entities of the various Group markets. Group Technology Services operates its IT systems and IT services in such a way that, at an appropriate and benchmarked cost level, it can deliver the agreed levels of service to support the requirements of the business processes, for both normal operations and during disaster recovery.
You will join the Network Engineering team that is responsible for the day-to-day operation, evolution, monitoring and automation of the Euroclear group network environment. In addition, the team is also involved in Business and infrastructure project support and delivery.
Responsibilities:
1. Setting up, configuring, and supporting network applicative Infrastructure (HLB, DNS, IP, Firewall rules,
2. Creating network design based on applicative requirements
3. Participating in cloud network review
4. Reviewing, implementing and enhancing our network environment
5. Assisting with maintenance of current documentation of related corporate network implementation
6. Taking part in troubleshooting network systems
7. Providing network project support to other teams with the implementation of enterprise and operational service upgrades and new initiatives
8. Taking part in Infrastructure and Business projects by delivering the required infrastructure (and related documentation)
9. Performing vulnerability assessment, validation & upgrade on the Network Systems/Applications
10. Maintaining process like Configuration Management and Monitoring of the infrastructure
11. Optimizing our current network implementation and introducing automation services in our environment
Requirements:
12. Extensive experience in the field or in a related area
13. Experience in F5 Technologies
14. Experience in Infoblox product management
15. Experience in Network Security Management Systems as Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewall
16. Knowledge of the AlgoSec product
17. Experience in Azure Cloud Networking and Security
18. Good knowledge of routing and switching technology (BGP, ISIS, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, GRE, IPSEC, OTV)
19. Excellent understanding of TCP/IP protocols and related DNS (Infoblox), QoS
20. Fluency in English
Nice to have:
21. Degree in Computer Science or Certifications in Network Technologies, Information Systems, or other related disciplines

Additional Information:
27. This position will involve regular trips to Paris or Brussels (at least once per quarter)
