Job title: CAD Designer – Mechanical DesignAs a CAD Designer, you will work closely with engineers to create accurate 3D models and technical drawings for the manufacturing of complex machinery. Your role will be key in turning design concepts into production-ready documentation, ensuring efficiency, precision, and manufacturability. Your responsibilitiesProduce detailed 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings for machinery components and assemblies.Apply design-for-manufacturing principles to ensure efficient production.Collaborate with engineers on design improvements and modifications.Maintain and update CAD libraries, part lists, and technical documentation.Work with suppliers to ensure components meet design specifications.Assist in prototype build and testing phases when required. Your profileQualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or similar.Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).Understanding of mechanical components, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.Precise, detail-oriented, and methodical approach to work.Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with production and engineering teams.Languages: Dutch required; English is an asset.Based in (or willing to commute to) Aarschot.
