As a GSE Breakdown Technician, you are responsible for identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical faults in ground support equipment (GSE). You play a key role in keeping airport operations running smoothly.
Your responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing faults in electrical and/or mechanical components.
- Using diagnostic software and tools to detect errors and malfunctions.
- Suggesting and implementing effective repair solutions.
- Identifying required replacement parts based on manuals and technical documentation.
- Dismantling and assembling machine components according to safety and manufacturer guidelines.
- Assisting with general maintenance and field repairs when needed.
Your profile:
-You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics or have equivalent practical experience
- You have solid knowledge of both electricity and mechanics
- Experience with rolling stock or GSE equipment is required
- You are comfortable using diagnostic tools and reading electrical schematics
- You are solution-oriented, hands-on, and precise
- Basic PLC knowledge is a plus
- You work well both independently and as part of a team
- You are motivated, flexible, and carry a strong sense of responsibility
- You respect safety procedures and strive for high quality
- You have a valid Category B driving license (to perform on-site repairs on the tarmac)
- You speak fluent English and either French or Dutch.
